Former White House aide Cliff Sims says President Trump may use the findings of special counsel Robert Mueller's report as a 'political bludgeon' against Democratic presidential candidates
Washington Former White House aide Cliff Sims suggested Monday President Donald Trump may use the findings of special counsel Robert Mueller's report as a"political bludgeon" against Democratic presidential candidates.
On Sunday, Attorney General William Barr said in a letter to Congress that Mueller's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election did not find that the Trump campaign conspired with Russia. Barr also said based on the findings of the investigation, he and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein determined there was not enough evidence to prosecute the President for obstruction of justice.
