One month after former Youtuber Ruby Franke and Jodi Hildebrandt were sentenced to prison for child abuse charges, police released evidence that depicts the severity of the abuse.

In a video released as evidence, doorbell footage captured the child ringing the doorbell before walking away as nobody answered. Shortly before leaving the property, a neighbor answered and asked what the problem was.child coming to door franke "I was just wondering if you could do me a favor." the child asked.The child then asks if they could get in touch with the nearest police station.
While being treated by medical teams, a police report notes plastic wrap, duct tape and bandages on the child covering deep wounds. Documents state skin came off of the child while the duct tape was removed. Another video shows police searching Hildebrandt's home and discovering a child sitting on the floor in a closet.
As the children were given medical treatment, Franke and Hildebrandt were arrested and booked into jail on child abuse charges.When Franke was read her charges, she did not acknowledge that she understood what the officer was saying.
