The Longhorns and the Buckeyes, two blue-chip programs by anyone’s definiton, have surprisingly only met three times, and didn’t play their first matchup together until 2005.The Longhorns are 2-1 against OSU, beating the Buckeyes in Columbus in 2005, losing the following year in Austin, then winning the Fiesta Bowl over Ohio State in 2009.
