How To Watch Mrs. America On FX On Hulu
The show follows the efforts of both supporters and proponents of the ERA. Feminist icons including Gloria Steinem , Betty Friedan , Shirley Chisholm , Bella Abzug , and Jill Ruckelshaus fought for legal equality of the sexes. Meanwhile, Phyllis Schlafly led a coalition of conservative women to stop the ERA from stripping them of their gender-related privileges.
