Alan Ritchson has 7 shows and movies in the works.

Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Alan Ritchson has become enormously popular since landing the lead role in the smash-hit Amazon Prime Video original series, Reacher, making it worthwhile to take a look at all seven of the actor's upcoming projects. Ritchson has been around for years, first gaining recognition for his role in the comedy series Blue Mountain State, before breaking out as an action star.

Production on Reacher season 3 is already underway for Prime Video, and though no timetable has been given for its release, it looks likely to arrive some time in 2025. Though little clarity exists concerning Reacher season 3's release date, Ritchson himself provided some details on the upcoming season's story, confirming that it will adapt the seventh of Child's Reacher novels, Persuader.

The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is based on a true story, detailing the efforts of a group of special operatives brought together by Winston Churchill to wreak havoc behind enemy lines through various forms of espionage and sabotage. The script will almost certainly take some significant creative liberties to help the story suit the film, but the broad strokes of the historical events depicted should be reasonably accurate.

However, it's worth pointing out that Ritchson's career started out with the wildly popular comedy series, Blue Mountain State. Still, he has done little work in this genre recently, and may have to wind the clock back on his career a bit to get back in touch with that side of his acting. Schwarzenegger has even less experience in comedy, though he has displayed a good-natured sense of humor throughout his career.

The film is expected to follow the story of a gunman and a sheriff who put their differences aside and hire a bounty hunter to track down a serial killer whom they feel could be a result of their past mistakes. At this point, little else is known about the movie's story, but it's expected to include plenty of action and possibly some horror elements.

War Machine was co-written by James Beaufort, who teamed up with the film's director, Patrick Hughs, to put together the script. The story remains mostly under wraps at this point, but War Machine expected to follow a group of Army Rangers who find themselves in a perilous situation as they near the end of the selection process.
