The live-action Star Wars TV episodes include some of the best moments in the franchise as well as scenes that will forever be remembered. Star Wars always had a strong presence on television, but it was only in 2019 that the saga received its first live-action TV show. The Mandalorian was the first live-action Star Wars series, and it paved the way for many other similar projects.
47 The Book of Boba Fett Season 1, Episode 3, “The Streets of Mos Espa” The Book of Boba Fett season 1, episode 3 advanced the plot a bit more compared to the show’s premiere, but the tone of the episode combined with new characters that did not quite work at first played against it. After three episodes, The Book of Boba Fett was still trying to find its tone, making “The Streets of Mos Espa” one of the worst live-action Star Wars episodes.
43 The Mandalorian Season 3, Episode 3, “The Convert" After two strong episodes, The Mandalorian season 3 took a surprising and arguably disappointing turn with “The Convert.” While The Mandalorian season 3, episode 3 was not a bad episode, it highlighted how weirdly paced The Mandalorian had become. Instead of Din Djarin and Bo-Katan, viewers were now following a secondary storyline that was only really revisited at the end of the season.
39 Obi-Wan Kenobi Part II Whereas Obi-Wan Kenobi Part I focused on Obi-Wan and his life on Tatooine, Part II moved the plot and finally brought Darth Vader into play. Obi-Wan learning that Anakin Skywalker was alive was a chilling moment. Likewise, seeing live-action Inquisitors hunting Obi-Wan, even without a proper fighting scene, was exciting.
