Every sport, every race: Full Paris Olympics schedule with Australian start times and medal chances

The world’s biggest sporting event is here, after the 2024 Paris Olympics officially got underway on Saturday July 27 , after several days of preliminary action which began Wednesday night.

It won’t be quite as easy to watch every event as it was in 2021, when Tokyo’s Aussie-friendly timezone meant plenty of primetime action, as most events in France will take place between 7pm and 7am AEST. Australia’s women’s 4x100m relay team punched their tickets to Paris 2024, marking their first Olympic appearance since Sydney 2000 with a record-breaking performance in the opening round of the World Athletics Relay Championships. The team comprising of Australia’s fastest women in Torrie Lewis , Bree Masters , Ella Connolly and Ebony Lane put their rivalries on the track aside to demonstrate their prowess in the event, automatically advancing to the final with an Area Record time of 42.
