The Ibrox boss is facing a major headache ahead of the Viaplay Cup showdown with Livingston.
If it doesn't rain it pours for Michael Beale as the injury problems mount for the Rangers boss amid a furious response to performance from supporters.
His free-roaming role could have seen him offer a solution to the lack of attacking threat in wide areas at this stage of the campaign. At the time of the knock Michael Beale predicted an absence of "three or four games". Beale reckons the 25-year-old will be back in contention for the clash with Aberdeen. He stated before the visit of Motherwell: "Kieran Dowell will be back by next Wednesday or Thursday so that is good news because he helps us in midfield and on the next line as well."
Danilo Danilo suffered a horrific looking head knock in the act of opening the scoring during the 2-0 win against St Johnstone. Beale has revealed that he should be back in training by the end of the next international break after going under the knife.
