The Bay season four kicked off with an episode so intense, it would send chills down the spine of anyone watching.
It's no doubt that while most viewers will be clinging on to every detail of the case during the episode, others will be trying to pinpoint which parts of Morecambe they recognise. If the gloomy skies, windswept promenade and choppy seas weren't enough of a tell tale sign, then here are some of the key Morecombe locations shot in the series.It wouldn't be a season of The Bay without a eerie opening shot of the real bay.
The King's Arm pub makes its first appearance, with the gloomy light dancing across the stone walls. The Lighthouse Cafe is also shown. As part of the moody opening shot, the series kicks off with a scene of kids, laughing together whilst sitting on the steps of the iconic statue.Of course, no crime-thriller is complete without a police station. The base of all operations is the real deal this time with majority of the scenes based around Morecambe's Police Station.
