Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Zack Snyder's latest sci-fi epic, Rebel Moon, has an all-star cast, with a healthy mix of movie stars and character actors who have appeared in either the Marvel or the DC superhero universe — or, in some cases, both of them. Netflix released the first trailer for Rebel Moon, their massive two-part movie event, and with that provided the first good look at the cast in action.
9 Anthony Hopkins Academy Award winner Anthony Hopkins needs little introduction, as he is a legend of both stage and screen. Best known for his more dramatic roles, like Hannibal Lecter and the titular character in The Father, Hopkins had a memorable stint in the MCU as Thor's father, Odin. He was also in Red 2, which was based on a DC comic. Hopkins voices a robot named Jimmy in Rebel Moon and doesn't physically appear in the movie.
7 Jena Malone In Rebel Moon, Jena Malone has a brief role as Harmada, a half-spider/half-human alien. Malone is an underrated actor, best known for her role as Johanna in the Hunger Games sequels, but she has been doing incredible character work in films like The Neon Demon, Inherent Vice, and Nocturnal Animals. Malone is a regular of director Zack Snyder, as she was in Sucker Punch as well as the extended edition of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
5 Corey Stoll Practically nothing is known about Corey Stoll's Rebel Moon role. There has not been any word on his character's name, and the trailer provides no clear glimpse of the Billions actor. This is not the first time a trailer has hidden Stoll's involvement, as earlier this year, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania hid Stoll's return to the MCU as Darren Cross/MODOK.
