From some of the most beloved games in the franchise to some somewhat unknown installments, there are plenty of Assassin's Creed games to keep you busy for a while.
Posts 2 That said, these games are pretty good for what they're trying to accomplish as side-scrollers, and if you're interested in experiencing more of the larger Assassin's Creed universe from a different perspective, they're pretty fun to play. Ultimately, I wouldn't recommend these as your first Assassin's Creed games, but hardcore fans of the franchise should give them a shot.
Ubisoft released Assassin’s Creed Unity and Rogue simultaneously to cater to both next-gen and current-gen console players during a hardware transition between PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 . Posts Syndicate introduced new features like a grappling hook and gang-style combat. Overall, it was much better received than its predecessor, Unity. Though Syndicate was criticized for its repetitive mission structure, it follows more or less the same formula as those that came before it. While not considered the best in the series, it helped restore faith in the franchise and is remembered now as a solid addition to the Assassin’s Creed saga.
While it doesn't include the original Assassin’s Creed, the collection is a great entry point into the franchise if you've never played the games before. Ezio’s arc remains a fan favorite, and the collection offers somewhat updated visuals and all single-player DLC for each game that was released.
