The GLE-class is Mercedes's mid-level SUV offering. We like the entry-level Benz-badged GLE350 best regarding this mid-size model's many powertrain options. Though the 255-hp turbocharged four-cylinder isn't as gutsy as the SUV's available inline-six or V-8 options, we found it sufficient and appreciated the 25 mpg it returned in our testing. However, the GLE-class's crown jewel is its interior, which is nothing if not fantastic.
