Actor Treat Williams, who starred in the TV series “Everwood,’ was killed in a motorcycle crash in Vermont Monday afternoon, according to a report. He was 71.

Williams was riding his motorcycle on Route 30 near Dorset when he was struck by a car around 5 p.m.,“I’m just devastated,” agent Barry McPherson told the outlet. “He was the nicest guy. He was so talented.”

“He was an actor’s actor. Filmmakers loved him. He’s been the heart of Hollywood since the late 1970s,” McPherson said. “He was really proud of his performance this year. He’s been so happy with the work that I got him. He’s had a balanced career.” Dorset fire chief Jacob Gribble told People that the car driver was making a turn and didn’t see the motorcycle before the collision.Actor Treat Williams died in a motorcycle crash in Vermont at the age of 71.Williams rose to fame when he played George Berger in the 1979 film “Hair,” getting nominated for a Golden Globe Award for his role.for playing Dr. Andrew Brown in the WB television series “Everwood,” which lasted four seasons.
