Motherwell will visit Goodison Park for a behind-closed-doors friendly on Tuesday
Everton are set to have a private outing at Goodison Park in a behind-closed-doors friendly this week. Scottish Premiership side Motherwell will visit Merseyside on Tuesday as Sean Dyche gets another opportunity to take a look at his squad ahead of the new season. It could provide a first glimpse of life as a player at the Grand Old Lady for new signings Jesper Lindstrom, Jake O’Brien, Tim Iroegbunam and and Iliman Ndiaye.
Italian giants Roma will then visit next weekend before the Blues start their Premier League campaign at home to Brighton Hove Albion on Saturday, August 17. Motherwell boss Stuart Kettlewell spoke of the friendly after his side began their league campaign with a goalless draw at home to Ross County on Saturday. He told Glasgow World : “We've got a bounce game on Tuesday. We go down to play a closed door game against Everton at Goodison Park on Tuesday.
