The Everett police officer has been released from Providence Regional Medical Center after being in serious, but stable, condition.
Update 3/23 12:30 p.m.:
Dan Templeman, Chief of Everett Police, released a statement about the shooting in support of the wounded officer. A large police response prompted authorities to shut down Evergreen Way from Casino Road to Holly Road, where there are two scenes cordoned off with crime scene tape.
