CAR-Free Day is an international annual event participated every September that promotes sustainable transportation.
The Klang Municipal Council has encouraged locals and people from neighbouring districts to join the event at Klang’s Jalan Stesen, on Sept 24.
“International Car Free Day is celebrated on Sept 22 but we are holding our event this Sunday at 7am to allow more families to enjoy the weekend. Norfiza added that most towns celebrate car free day in different ways which benefit the community where it creates a greener environment.
