Eventbrite stock plummets 20% after wider-than-expected loss, weak outlook
Eventbrite Inc. EB, +3.15% shares plunged more than 20% in the extended session Thursday after the company reported wider-than-expected losses but beat revenue expectations. Eventbrite also issued weak first-quarter guidance. The online ticketing company reported fourth-quarter net losses of $13 million, or 17 cents a share, compared with losses of $18.3 million, or 89 cents a share, in the year-ago period. Revenue rose to $75.9 million from $62.7 million in the year-ago period.
