The Springboks maintain their 100% win rate in final appearance since their first final in 1995, when they beat New Zealand.New Zealand were able to become the first side to score a try against the Springboks in a Rugby World Cup final but Richie Mo’Unga missed the conversion which would have put New Zealand ahead.
The All Blacks saw Jordie Barrett miss a 75th minute penalty from close to halfway on a difficult angle, to break hearts in New Zealand.
