Locklin Fire evacuation has been lifted. Residents of Locklin Avenue and Wood Canyon have returned to set status and may return home.
Fire crews are still on the scene to contain the fire and will continue working throughout the evening. Now that the evacuation order has been lifted the American Red Cross has shut down the shelter at St. Patrick's Church.Residents in the Locklin Avenue, Juniper Flats and Wood Canyon areas have been evacuated due to a wildfire in the Bisbee area.
According to the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management, the blaze is estimated to be between 100 and 150 acres. Close to 50 crew members are assigned to the blaze, attempting to keep it from advancing onto Mule Mountain.A shelter has been set up at St. Patrick Catholic Church.Phil Villarreal is the senior real-time editor for KGUN 9.
