Actress Eva Longoria and former University of Texas Chancellor Adm. Bill McRaven each received $50 million Thursday as recipients of this year's Bezos Courage & Civility Award. The money from business mogul Jeff Bezos and his fiancée, Lauren Sánchez, will go toward charities of the winners' choosing. The award was established in 2021 to honor leaders finding solutions to difficult problems society is facing.
