BBC Radio 2 star Scott Mills is gearing up to host the Eurovision Song Contest on Saturday night – but there's a little-known secret about him that leaves fans gasping
Scott Mills might be a mainstay of BBC Radio 2's afternoon schedule and a huge part of the TV presenting team for the Eurovision Song Contest, but he also has a lesser-known accolade. The Scott Mills Bridge was opened on Wednesday, 16 March 2016 at Welcome Break's Fleet M3 Services in Hampshire by Chris Stark, his then-co-presenter on his Radio 1 show.
Chris thoroughly enjoyed his time spent at Fleet, saying: "It's been a pleasure. Honestly one of the best days of my life." "This is a fitting monument to Scott Mills as it is fading, falling apart, smells of wee, just like him," said one reviewer, who also said the bridge was: "Grim, very grim." However others rushed to praise the bridge, with one person saying: "We had a rare child-free weekend and stayed in a hotel in Fleet as part of a well overdue 40th birthday present for my husband. Can you imagine my glee when I realised we were literally on the doorstep of the Scott Mills Bridge?!
