European security structure is 'clearly not functioning' at desired levels, Turkish FM Cavusoglu says, stressing that Ankara's contribution to transatlantic security is vital
Listing three ways to ensure security in today's conditions, the Turkish foreign minister said one of them is keeping one's"country strong and resilient with all its elements."
Saying that Türkiye always stands by its allies, Cavusoglu said some allies have disappointed Türkiye. Cavusoglu further noted that the second way to ensure security is"to be both the subject and the complementary element of common security." Calling on all its allies that Türkiye is the"only real partner in fight against terrorism," Cavusoglu also underscored that a terrorist organisation that kills the citizens and soldiers of an ally country cannot be a legitimate partner.
