Jonathan Aldridge vowed to repay his family for their support after his £133,173 lottery win.
A man who was diagnosed with cancer as a teenager said he hoped he was at the start of "a lucky phase" after he won a lottery prize of more than £130,000.
He said he was "receiving particularly aggressive chemotherapy" at hospital and was "lying awake at night thinking ‘this might be it’. Mr Aldridge said when he was told he would have to undergo radiotherapy, he "wasn't confident would make it".
