Supermarkets across England are set to open and close at different times for the Euros 2024 final Stock up on your match beers and half-time snacks, as major supermarket chains have adjusted their opening hours for the Euros 2024 final tonight. That’s right, folks, today is the day, and with pretty much everyone set to watch the match later this evening, some UK supermarkets and shops have amended their opening hours so staff can join in on the fun.
30pm to allow workers to enjoy the football, if they wish The supermarket added that workers would be paid for their regular shift so no employee will lose out on money because the store has closed early. There’s also no obligation to watch the game, either, so employees not watching the final will also be paid as normal, too. Despite closing stores early on Sunday, all Tesco supermarkets are set to reopen, with business as usual on Monday morning – mostly opening at 6am or 7am.
