“As I always say, yes it’s still my dream, my plan to qualify for the Olympics and try to win the gold,” Marcial told BusinessMirror from Las Vegas where he intends to resume training. “But I’m weighing all options right now because I’m a professional boxer at the same time.” Marcial could get a ticket to Paris if he competes—and wins gold—at the Hangzhou 20th Asian Games in September.“I have an obligation to fight professionally so I still need to consult my promoter on what’s best for my career,” said the four-time Southeast Asian Games champion. “But it’s in my blood—to represent my country in any overseas competition.”
