THE European Union today called on the United States to “reconsider” the decision to sever ties with the World Health Organization over its handling of the coronavirus pandemic. President Donald Trump yesterday said he was severing US ties with the WHO, accusing it of failing to do enough to combat the initial spread of the virus.
