A woman's estranged husband has been charged with her murder and allegedly attempting to kill two young girls in a NSW Central West car crash.
Thirty-six-year-old mother-of-two Kristy Armstrong died at the scene of a car and a ute crash on Speedy Street in Molong, near Orange, about 3.40pm on June 9.Kristy Armstrong died in a crash in Molong in April.NSW Police said two girls aged 8 and 11 were treated by paramedics at the scene of the crash and were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
"The driver of the ute – a 35-year-old man – was freed from his vehicle by Fire and Rescue NSW and treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before he was transported to Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition," NSW Police said in a statement.While Mr Armstrong was in hospital, police charged him with murder and two counts of attempted murder.
