As these tragic stories emerged, the journalists of the Houston Chronicle worked tirelessly to keep our fellow Houstonians informed of power outages, water boil notices and the locations of warming stations. The newspaper kept printing and the website kept updating throughout the storm, despite many of us without power and running water. And in the aftermath, we dissected how and why the grid collapsed, and interviewed experts who offered solutions.
