The Sugar Bowl game between the University of Notre Dame and the University of Georgia was held after a 24-hour postponement due to a Wednesday terror attack in New Orleans. The Superdome held a moment of silence before kickoff for the victims of the attack, which killed at least 14. The source added that SEC Network, which is owned by ESPN, aired both the song and moment of silence.
