Despite a no-trade clause and mega contract, the future of Atlanta Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins has been brought into question by a pair of ESPN insiders.

Graziano's case on Cousins, who signed a four-year, $180 million contract with the Falcons in March but is guaranteed only $10 million after the 2025 season ends, centers around first-round rookie quarterback Michael Penix Jr., who's currently the team's backup. But trading Cousins makes little sense. The 36-year-old has completed 68.1% of his passes for 2,807 yards, 17 touchdowns and nine interceptions. Atlanta's offense ranks fifth in the NFL in passing yards per game and eighth in total yards .
Toss in the fact that Cousins has a no-trade clause and a difficult contract to unload, and the idea of a trade should, at this point, be squashed. But that won't stop some from talking about it anyways.
