One of the suspects in the fatal drive-by shooting of a 70-year-old Pensacola woman has been extradited from Texas and is now jailed in Escambia County, according to jail records.

Terrance Lovelle Gross Jr., 19, of Pensacola, was booked in Escambia County on a homicide charge Thursday night, according to jail records. The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office said Gross was found in Laredo, Texas, and that he had been headed to Mexico. Also charged with homicide is Jaquaris Ethridge, 19. A third suspect in the shooting did not survive after he jumped off a bridge during a police pursuit following the incident June 24.
Authorities said the three suspects were in a stolen vehicle driving down Erress Boulevard that day when they began firing shots at a home. Officials said one of the bullets struck the victim in her neck.
