It shouldn’t come as a surprise that the 911 Turbo has only become faster over the years so it makes sense that the newer cars beat the earlier ones, with the 992 leading the pack and the 930 coming in last. In total, three drag races were held with the third and final race being the best. The 992 Turbo S stormed home to victory, completing the quarter-mile in 10.2 seconds. That placed it ahead of the 991 at 10.7 seconds, the 997 at 10.9 seconds, the 996 at 12.3 seconds, the 993 at 12.8 seconds, the 964 at 14 seconds, and last but not least, the 930 at 17.3 seconds after suffering some clutch issues. However, the 930 did record a better time of 14.9 seconds in a separate race.
