Jan 18, 2026 • an hour ago will provide an opportunity for NFL draft prospects to showcase themselves on the largest pre-draft stage. Washington cornerback Ephesians Prysock plans on taking full advantage.
Prysock recently spoke exclusively with the Senior Bowl and Draft Network to discuss his motivation for accepting his invitation to compete in Mobile, Alabama. Prysock also discussed what he's striving to prove to NFL general managers and scouts in attendance at the Senior Bowl, playing with size and aggressiveness at cornerback, how he’d write his own scouting report, and more. Let's get to know Prysock better ahead of his journey to the Panini Senior Bowl. JM: Where were you when you found out about your Senior Bowl invite, and what was your initial reaction?I was at Washington’s facility. I had just finished working out. I was really excited, man. The first thing I did was call my dad. He was so excited for me. It’s a blessing to be invited. JM: That sounds like a special moment with your father. What motivated you to accept the Senior Bowl’s offer?I’ve talked to a lot of people about the Senior Bowl. It’s the best pre-draft all-star game to attend. The Senior Bowl has helped produce a ton of talent in recent years. It’s a great opportunity for me to improve my pre-draft stock. JM: Speaking of those eyeballs, what are you hoping to prove to NFL general managers, coaching staffs, and scouts in attendance in Mobile?I want to showcase how versatile I am. I’m ready to show off my entire skill set. The best of the best competition will be in attendance. It’s a chance for me to showcase myself. JM: We love the confidence. How would you write your own scouting report? Self-scout yourself for us.I’m a taller cornerback who is very versatile. I move like a 5-foot-10 cornerback. I get in and out of my breaks efficiently. I can play press-man or off-man coverage. I can play zone as well.Ephesians Prysock: I love playing boundary corner, but I also enjoy playing the field. Boundary corner, you really have to lock it down at that spot. The opposition typically places their best receiver on the boundary side, the single X receiver. JM: You had some ball production at Washington. You made a successful transition from Arizona to Washington when you entered the portal.I made a smooth transition. It was easy because I followed my coaches. My coaches left Arizona for Washington, and I basically decided to go with them. It was easy for me to get into the portal and place my trust in the staff that was developing me. I wanted to go to Washington with those guys. JM: We love that. If you had to compare yourself to a current NFL cornerback, who would you choose and why? Is there anyone in particular you try to study and learn from?I feel like I take a lot of attributes from different cornerbacks around the NFL. I study a bunch of them, too. Guys like Patrick Surtain II. I watch a little bit of Jalen Ramsey tape. Derek Stingley Jr. has great ball skills. I like Jaycee Horn. A lot of guys like that. Those are some great cornerbacks at the next level. I want to reach that status.Ephesians Prysock: I mean, possibly, yeah. I took some reps at safety for Washington. I actually got my first interception in college playing safety. I’m familiar with the position. That’s where my versatility comes into play. I can move around the defensive backfield. JM: We’ve appreciated your time today. At the end of the week, what does a successful Senior Bowl look like for Ephesians Prysock?I’m going to have a lot of fun competing alongside some of the top prospects in the nation. I’m going to have fun out there, man. I’m gonna do what I do best, and that’s shut down some of the best receivers.
