EPF confirms Covid-19 case, closes branch for disinfection
EPF has confirmed a case of Covid-19 on its premises, saying a patient had visited its Jalan Raja Laut branch before being tested positive for the coronavirus later. The branch has now been closed for disinfection. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, March 10, 2020.
THE Employees’ Provident Fund today confirmed a member has been infected with Covid-19 and is currently in hospital for treatment. The fund said in a statement today that the individual visited the Jalan Raja Laut branch on February 27 at 2pm and was tested positive days later on March 3, but could not confirm if the member was infected at the time of the visit.
