Trump cabinet nominee Vivek Ramaswamy sits down with Maria Bartiromo to discuss the role of the new Department of Government Efficiency.
Entire federal agencies will be “deleted” under President-elect Donald Trump ’s so-called Department of Government efficiency, entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy pledged.
“We expect certain agencies to be deleted outright,” Ramaswamy, 39, said. “We expect mass reductions in force in areas of the federal government that are bloated. Citing the Supreme Court’s past rulings on federal overreach, Ramaswamy stressed that this is an opportunity to downsize. “Guess what? You got to pay interest on the debt,” he went on. “There is a syndrome where very wealthy people who got wealthy in finance or as a tech entrepreneur decide that they’re heart surgeons and capable of running the United States … early returns are not good.”
