An Enterprise jury found Emmanuel Key guilty of Manslaughter in the killing of Stevie Franklin
ENTERPRISE, Ala. - An Enterprise man was convicted in a 2019 Daleville Lounge shooting death on Friday.
The verdict came after a three-day trial where evidence placed Key at the Daleville Lounge on December 22. According to testimony, security guards, including victim Stevie Franklin, tried to remove a group of people from the lounge. A fight broke out and Key shot Franklin before leaving the scene. Key was arrested in connection to the shooting three weeks later.
Sentencing has been set for a later date. Key is a previously convicted felon and the prosecution will seek significant punishment, Coffee County District Attorney James Tarbox said in a statement.
