After a recent crash led to a DUI charge, the Enterprise High School baseball coach has submitted his resignation.
ENTERPRISE, Ala. -Less than a week after his second DUI arrest in as many years, Enterprise High School baseball coach Marty Christopher Lovrich resigned Tuesday.
Lovrich was arrested July 9 in Geneva County after a crash involving his vehicle, according to an Alabama state trooper report. The trooper wrote that Lovrich’s eyes were glassy and bloodshot, his balance was unsteady and his speech was slurred, and that Lovrich admitted drinking alcohol. The report said a test showed Lovrich had a blood alcohol content of 0.13. The legal threshold is 0.08.
In early 2025, a state trooper in Coffee County charged Lovrich — the 2025 coach of the year — with DUI and other offenses following a traffic stop.
