Ford Bronco : une enquête concernant un problème « catastrophique » du moteur

Le Ford Bronco a beaucoup fait parler de lui depuis ses débuts l’an dernier, mais pas toujours pour les bonnes raisons. Si ses prouesses hors route et la quantité de variantes offertes sont tombées dans la colonne des éléments positifs, les ennuis avec les toits ont occupé celle des éléments plus négatifs.

Le problème, c’est que certains Bronco équipés du moteur V6 EcoBoost de 2,7 litres souffrent d’un problème lié au dispositif de commande des soupapes qui se manifeste par une perte de puissance à vitesse d’autoroute. Le redémarrage du moteur serait alors impossible en raison de ce qui est décrit comme « une défaillance catastrophique du moteur ». Il n’y a aucune mention de l’élément défaillant, toutefois.
