As the Queen spends her special day in quarantine at her home at Windsor Castle with husband Prince Philip, we get a rare glimpse into her younger days with this adorable throwback video posted on Tuesday .
Clips of Elizabeth have been compiled into a heartwarming video that shows the young royal then swinging on a swing with sister Princess Margaret, being pushed in a stroller, and even sitting on a horse as well as playing with the family's dogs. The jovial footage is sure to put a smile on your face, especially as it's not something we see very often.
"Happy Birthday, Your Majesty!" the caption accompanying the clip read. "Thank you for your messages today, on The Queen’s 94th birthday. In this private footage from the @royalcollectiontrust, we see The Queen playing with her family, including her younger sister Princess Margaret." Princess Margaret unfortunately passed away in 2002.
