K-pop boy band ENHYPEN’s second studio album “Romance: Untold” set a new record for the group.
Jul 19, 2024 02:35 AMKorea’s Hanteo music chart announced on July 19 that “Romance: Untold” sold a total of 2,344,749 copies in its first week of release from July 12 to 18. The first week sales for “Romance: Untold” surpassed ENHYPEN’s previous record for “Orange Blood” album, which accumulated 1,871,269 copies from Nov. 17 to 23 last year, or an increase of 473,480 copies.
“Romance: Untold” was released on July 12 and garnered first day sales of 1,883,143 copies, also a new record for ENHYPEN, compared to 1,383,292 copies for “Orange Blood.” During ENHYPEN’s media showcase for the new album last July 11, it was announced that “Romance: Untold” garnered pre-orders of over 2.2 million copies.
“Romance: Untold” earlier topped Hanteo Chart’s weekly physical album chart from July 8 to 14 with sales of 1.9 million copies or an equivalent of 2.17 million in physical record index, a combination of total sales and album price used by Hanteo to rank albums.
