KUALA LUMPUR: Residents of Menara City One condominium tower in Jalan Munshi Abdullah, Kuala Lumpur, received much-needed food supplies from the Welfare Department on Thursday (April 2) afternoon.
It is learnt that many residents, especially foreigners, were running out of food supplies such as rice and vegetables, after the government placed them under enhanced MCO on March 31, after 17 people living there tested positive for Covid-19.
Building manager Daud Ansari told The Star that since they were on lockdown, many residents, especially the elderly, were running out of food supplies. “Thankfully, this afternoon the much-needed supplies have arrived and were distributed to those eligible," he said.
