RCMP say there is one confirmed death so far. The Saskatchewan Coroners service will be investigating the scene further.
On Thursday around 9 a.m., RCMP received a report that the Fourth Avenue building was on fire, RCMP said in a news release. RCMP, as of mid-afternoon on Thursday, said there was one confirmed death. The Saskatchewan Coroners service will be investigating the scene further. Angel Wall, who said she looked after the apartment building for six years, asked in a Facebook post that people “be praying for the families and that everyone made it out safely. This place holds a spot in my heart.”The building’s residents were taken to a safe location. According to RCMP, some needed medical assistance.Advertisement 3
