The Daily Herald endorses Jacqueline Dye for the Bensenville District 2 school board.
This endorsement is a consensus opinion of the Daily Herald Editorial Board. Five candidates are running for four open four-year terms on the Bensenville Elementary District 2 school board.
Dye, of Bensenville, was appointed to a 2-year term in November 2021. Since then, she's been an active part of the board's process for developing a strategic plan and hiring a new superintendent. She comes across as a true team player with more than 20 years of experience in education.
