Actor Enchong Dee urged his 'neutral' colleagues to speak out on the media giant ABS-CBN franchise denial.
After he was accused of pressuring others, Enchong Dee clarified that he does not mean to shade fellow celebrities when he urges them to speak up on the ABS-CBN franchise denial.
Instagram user @marjlanuza said that while she is for ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal and admires Dee’s bravery, it is wrong for the actor to “pressure all the artists to be as vocal as [he].”“Ifocus niyo sa gobyerno ang pagkalampag , [instead] of shading other artists for [not] being as vocal as you,” the netizen stressed.
In response, Dee emphasized that he asks fellow entertainers to speak up not for themselves, but for other showbiz workers who need the voice of celebrities amid ABS-CBN’s plight.
