Encanto star Jessica Darrow reveals why her role in Fifteen-Love is so personal
"Also, the fact that it took place in the UK, it made me so happy. So I could have only dreamed to play this part. And I was like, gosh, I hope I can come back to the UK."
The actress added of such a personal gig: "I feel like I've always been manifesting like trying to come back. "And as an American, it's truly a wonderful opportunity to be able to take a break from the craziness over there and to be in an environment where I feel actors are honestly even held to a higher calibre in terms of like, just really respected.
"The whole idea of like, celebrity culture is like, not as intense here. And it really felt like it was a real job that I had to do. And I was really using my own personal skillset to do something that I've always wanted to do my whole life.
