Los premios Imagen celebraron su edición 37 con el triunfo de la cinta ‘Encanto”, “Love Victor”, “Selena: The Series” y los actores Eugenio Derbez y Ariana Debose, además de galardonar con el Premio a la Trayectoria al escritor, director y dramaturgo Luis Valdez, quien fue la personalidada detrás del éxito del agran pantalla “La Bamba” que celebró su aniversario de estreno número 35.
El trofeo a Mejor Actor lo ganó Eugenio Derbez por su papel de profesor de música en la cinta ganadora del Oscar CODA, mientras que Ariana DeBose se llevó el premio a Mejor Actriz por su actuación en “West Side Story”.Eugenio Derbez se llevó el premio a Mejor Actor por supapel de profesor de música en la cinta ‘CODA’.
