Employee stabbed, wounded at McDonald's in Vista; assailant flees [Breaking]
A McDonald’s employee in Vista was stabbed in the back Tuesday, and the assailant fled the scene, according to a county Sheriff’s Department official.
The stabbing was reported by someone who came across the victim around 1:25 p.m. at the restaurant on South Santa Fe Avenue and Civic Center Drive, according to sheriff’s Lt. Gavin Lanning. The victim was stabbed at least once, Lanning said. The injured person was taken to a hospital for treatment.The assailant fled, according to the Sheriff’s Department. No description was immediately available.
