On Tuesday, Mesa police released surveillance photos of the man believed to be involved in the shooting that left an employee and customer injured.
Mesa police say it happened around 3:15 a.m. Sunday at the Bosa Donuts location near Dobson Road and Rio Salado Parkway.
Austin Harvey, the manager of Henhouse Café, which is a few doors down from Bosa Donuts, said it was shocking to see and hear about the shooting.Harvey said he didn’t know any of the people personally, but said it was scary knowing that an employee was shot. “It was shocking. I wasn’t expecting it. When I tried to open the door and [police] were like no, this is closed. I was like oh, okay. It was a little nerve-racking,” said Chad Willyerd, who has been to Bosa Donuts before.
