Indie record label, distributor and publishing company EMPIRE has paired with Instagram to debut two new shows of original content on IGTV, the company announced today . The shows have been developed by the company’s in-house creative team, EMPIRE Studios, with the first series kicking off today.
“EMPIRE has been focused on creating and developing authentic content for artists and creators, and collaborating with Instagram on these series is a fantastic way to showcase this content to the world," said EMPIRE head of original content development and productionin a statement announcing the deal."The artists and talent have had a blast creating the series, as did we, and we can’t wait for viewers to experience it.
The first of the two shows is called Canvas Conversations, described as an interview series between"a musician, a visual artist and a comedian" -- this is not the start of a joke set in a bar -- who will have an"illustrated conversation about life and music," according to a press release.
