Marie Snyder has agreed to testify against her former girlfriend who she alleges was the instigator of the abuse.

The guilty plea takes the possibility of the death penalty off the table for Snyder but Gardner explained the terms of the plea agreement allow him to seek it if she changes her mind and goes to trial. She is jailed without bail and charged with third-degree murder, endangering the welfare of children, obstruction in child abuse cases, abuse of corpse, concealing the death of child and tampering with evidence.
